Foyers are the introduction and entryway to our homes. These entryways are very important spaces and can be a wonderful opportunity to be creative. I hope you enjoy some of the unique and beautiful foyer inspirations!
Clear Home Design gives this foyer a fresh, clean, and open appearance. The clear console adds to the breezy, airy look. The mirror provides depth and spaciousness. It also reflects the beautiful elements of the entry. The white bench and rug add to the lightness and crispness of the space.
I love a gorgeous center table in a large foyer. Center tables are a great place to display fresh flowers, favorite accessories, books, etc. They are also wonderful for large gatherings to place drinks and food while your guests socialize. The long attractive bench is wonderful for extra seating and the cozy pillows add warmth to the space. The artwork is phenomenal and the glamourous chandelier completes this dazzling space by Erin Gates.
Mark Kennemer is a brilliant local Birmingham designer. This space is sophisticated and modern with an old-world touch with the glorious, antique tapestry. The streamlined settee is striking and the plush velvet pillows tie the entire space together. What a breathtaking foyer!
This foyer is very narrow but Kate Rumson utilizes the space wonderfully. The modern console provides great surface space and storage. Underneath the console is the perfect spot to place some extra guest seating. The roped stools supply a fresh, organic element to the room plus a little whimsy. The glamorous chandelier provides plenty of beautiful lighting and a soft glow to this handsome space.
Vern Yip designed this large, foyer space very elegantly and cleverly. This grand foyer is like having a complete extra room in the home and he made use of every inch of the space. The antique rug and large center table take up a big portion of the space. Center tables are so convenient to have for social gatherings, while also providing space for the owner’s favorite items. Yip completes this space with beautiful art displays all around the foyer.
Blesser House created such a fresh, cheerful design for this small foyer. The airy white drapery, light upholstered bench, and cozy pillows are a wonderful trio in this breezy space. The antique mirrored vase with natural greenery is a clever touch. The large grouping of botanical prints brings a gorgeous organic element and provides visual height.
This inspiring foyer was created by my former design partner, Dawn Higgenbotham. Many homes in the ’90s and early 2000s were built with these tall (not so energy efficient foyers). Dawn worked brilliantly with the height by placing a gorgeous set of antique prints all the way up to the second story. She added a striking pedestal and urn in front of the windows. The foyer is narrow and long, so she added a beautiful Chinese console with antique chairs on each side. The look is complete with the delightful animal skin bench and divine artwork.
Erin Gates utilizes every inch of this foyer space cleverly. The gorgeous full-size dresser is handsome with striking details including uniquely designed nailhead trim. It adds so much storage but doesn’t take up space visually because of the white. light color. The lovely blue lamps add a wonderful pop of color and the puckered chairs add extra guest seating.
Many older homes have tiny foyers that are charming but at the same time challenging. Erin Gates makes the most of this small space with a striking blue chest. The chest is small but mighty in a handsome blue color. The drawers are deep and provide ample storage. The glamorous beveled mirror above is the perfect pairing for the chest and provides depth and reflection. It is also perfect for one last touchup before heading out for the day!
Tobi Fairley makes the most of the small wall space in this glamorous foyer. The black and white chest provides ample storage with plenty of space for lamps, books, accessories, and flowers. The black and white geometric wallpaper is exquisite. She ties is all together with attractive black and white tile floor and a painted black door.
The above foyer is so small with very little wall space but the area has been designed very cleverly. A narrow, custom-made console is the perfect fit. Although small, it does add plenty of surface space for one’s favorite display items. The beautiful art piece and antique mirror add luxurious finishing touches.
Tobi Fairley designed such a fun and colorful foyer space. She uses a covered center table with a delightful large Greek key trim. With such a large space, she decided to add ample seating. This is a delightful and clever space for large gatherings.
Tobi Fairley created a delightful and warm space with a charming covered console in warm yellow. The attractive white lamps add a touch of warmth and whimsy. The opulent mirror is marvelous and reflects a grouping of beautiful framed prints. The handsome French chairs provide comfortable extra seating and the unexpected round mirrored sconces are a perfectly delightful touch.
