The color cream is one of my absolute favorite colors for interior paint. I actually have my entire upstairs painted in Benjamin Moore’s Rich Cream. It is an enjoyable, relaxing hue that pairs well with almost any color or scheme. I hope you enjoy my short list of cream paint colors. I love every cream on this list and I know whatever project you may be working on, these options will work wonderfully.
Benjamin Moore describes Rich Cream as “A soft beige sweetened with a touch of peach, this neutral brings to mind a decadent crème custard.”
I love how Knock Off Decor describes the color: “Sherwin Williams Creamy is a lighter-toned, off-white color that is quite fresh, airy, and also has a tinge of yellow to it! But don’t worry – it isn’t too yellow to overwhelm your space so it is a win-win situation.”
The description of colors by Farrow and Ball is always entertaining:
“Our original cream is named after the paint pioneer who first founded the company with Richard Ball in Dorset, England. Farrow’s Cream is a pretty, traditional colour, with no addition of black pigment, which creates delightfully inviting rooms with a gentle warmth. It feels just as at home on the paneling of a 17th-century hall as it does on the wooden cupboards of a relaxed family kitchen.”
Benjamin Moore describes Windham Cream as “A sunlit, luscious cream with a whispery undertone of pale butter.”
“This illuminating neutral takes its name from the natural material originally used to make candles. Tallow’s pale cream finish reflects the light brilliantly so it is perfect if you want to lift a darker space or paint one color throughout a property. The slightest hint of pink and yellow pigment creates a warm but fresh feel which is often very popular in nurseries. “-Farrow and Ball
I hope you enjoyed this small gallery of delicious creams. Let me know if you have used any of these in your latest home projects!
