The color pick of the week is Elephant’s Breath. If the name isn’t clever enough, observe how wonderfully the color reacts in different environments in the pictures below.
The color was created by the famous English designer, John Fowler. Farrow and Ball describe Elephant’s Breath as “a warm and contemporary grey. Elephant’s Breath reads as an uplifting mid-grey with hints of magenta but can become almost lilac in the cooler light of west-facing rooms. Try offsetting with Charleston Gray and London Clay for an invitingly earthy scheme with more intense accents, or pair with other Contemporary Neutrals such as the softer Strong White for a sense of neutrality and calm.”
Elephant’s Breath is romantic, serene, and handsome. The paint color’s personality reflects itself uniquely against different colors and various environments but it never disappoints. With a name like Elephant’s Breath, it could never be boring!
