Palladian Blue is a stunning and serene blue paint color. It is a color that changes with the light throughout the day but never loses its true essence. Benjamin Moore’s description is perfect: “All is calm and relaxed with this soft, airy blue that combines the blue of the sky with a touch of the mother of pearl.” BM Palladian Blue has an LRV of 61%, meaning it has great reflective value, most beautifully in natural light. I remember the very first design firm I worked for used this color in many bedrooms. I fell in love with it 20 years ago and I still adore its grace and tranquility. It may not be on the “hot list” right now but it has truly stood the test of time. I love this peaceful bedroom done by Crisp Architects. So beautiful when paired with the crisp white elements and pops of blue throughout this gorgeous room. Check out some more beautiful examples below!
Walking into this room would feel like a breath of fresh air. The Palladian Blue paint is stunning with all of the natural light pouring into this Caitlin Creer-designed room. It pairs beautifully with all the whites, blues and silvers. I love the punch of the striped pillows against the tranquility of the walls.
This room is so fun! It really brings out the vibrancy of Palladian Blue! I love the pops of yellow against the blue and all the happy things taking place in this room, Palladian Blue can definitely be used in the youngest and most vibrant of spaces!’
I love to see Palladian Blue done right in a bathroom. My Old Country House did a fabulous job pairing this blue with the hexagon floor and the shabby chic furniture. I also love the little of splash of orange frame on the wall.
How gorgeous is this blue on a front door? It is so serene and inviting on this unbelievable covered porch. I love the blue paired with this crisp, white paint by Renew My Home.

Palladian Blue is a gorgeous front door color but it works equally as well on an inside door, especially a kitchen, laundry, or bath door. I love this look in The Jolly James Kitchen. It is so friendly and clean!
