Benjamin Moore’s Antique Pewter #1560 is a gorgeous 2024 trending color. The company describes their hue as “reminiscent of a rich patina, this green hue is grounded by a touch of gray.” It is a color with a lower light reflective value of 25 so it has a darker, moodier ambience. BM suggests pairings with Cloud White, Ancient Oak, Chantilly Lace, and Tissue Pink.
Antique Pewter is a gorgeous color on living room walls. It works wonderfully with natural brown leather and white trims and accents. The paint color lightens up a bit with all the natural light in the above room but remains deep and saturated with its lower light reflective value.
Antique Pewter is a gorgeous color for kitchen cabinets. It blends well with stainless steel appliances and warm wood tones. It is beatifically grounded and perfectly balanced off the crisp-white cabinets.
Benjamin Moore considers Antique Pewter to be a wonderful pairing with its lovely hue, Tissue Pink. Antique Pewter also works well with pops of pink accents and pure whites.
Here is a schematic design I did with Antique Pewter and Tissue Pink. Tissue Pink would be lovely as a ceiling color with Antique Pewter on the walls. It would come together beautifully with white furniture pieces, pink accents, and silver, gray, or pewter pieces.
Antique Pewter is a handsome color for house exteriors. It is perfectly contrasted with bright trim such as Cloud White, one of the accent paints suggested by Benjamin Moore.
It is no wonder that Antique Pewter is trending in 2024. It is a handsome, rich, and deeply saturated color that would work in almost any area of your home. I am considering it for a home office design in the future. Have you used Antique Pewter successfully in your home? If so, would love to see some examples.
